Creative Principal – Schumacher’s Meats
Tom is an advertising lifer who has spent his career fighting the good fight for conceptual development – no matter the medium, the ideaʼs the thing.
After getting his BFA in Graphic Design at Arcadia University in suburban Philadelphia, Tom spent the next four years paying his dues in the role of Production Artist in shops all over the metro Philadelphia area.
His life and his career changed forever when he took a job at the New York office of Chiat/Day Advertising. As he rode out the merger of TBWA and Chiat/Day, Tom spent his time working on Nissan/Infiniti automobiles, Champion Sportswear and Bridgestone/ Firestone tires.
From there Tom moved to the world of Direct Response advertising to work on IBM at Barry Blau & Partners. This would begin the whirlwind tour of advertising disciplines that would see him bring his advertising and design perspectives to the young world of Interactive.
Through the years, Tom has worked at large agencies like Hill-Holiday, Euro RSCG and FCB, at smaller shops like Clarion Marketing & Communications, Tandem Partners, Lyon Heart, and Strategy Farm and has run internal creative groups in companies like House Party and IMC2.
